My West Michigan American Idol-Would you Send Her to Hollywood?

I was reading a blog by my friend Alan May called American Idolitry about whether these people really think they could sing. I just couldn’t resist because my daughter will hopefully be trying out for American Idol someday soon. So I let Alan be the judge and HE sent her through the first round.

So what do you all think?

Lindsey has been singing since she was in Middle School and was in the Show Choir at School. She took voice lessons when she was in high school but she has taught herself how to play guitar. She also amazes me how she can figure out a song on the piano.

She is almost 20 now and has been doing some Open Mike Nights in addition to going to college and working at Red Robin.

I know I am a Mom and probably partial, but I think the girl has a set of lungs!

So what’s your vote . . will you send her through the first round and off to Hollywood?

She is a beautiful girl with a fantastic voice! She's got my vote to win!

Hi Tami, I totally agree with Ann. Beautiful girl, great voice; she has my vote!

Gorgeous, talented and really needs a band. Start chasing a keyboard, drummer and bass if you guys are serious about the Idol run. I'd vote for her in a New York heartbeat. ;-)

Great video and Lindsey seems like a star already Tami. Go for it. The Summer Girl looks very much like her Mama.

Wow, you even got Carolyn to comment. She stays really busy. I feel even better with my assessment that she's got talent! She's a beautiful girl with a great voice. Oh....it's so sad how fast they grow up......

Granted, I may be somewhat biased because the song starts out talking about Jeeps - what Jeep lover wouldn't like a song like that. No, really, she has a lot of talent. Hopefully, it will take her far.

Sondra thank you so very much! She is a truck girl all the way--although she just got a new car - PT Cruiser but that is for gas mileage. If she had her way she would be driving our Chevy Durmax!
