Wining More Losing Less. A friend wrote a while back: "In any negotiation, there will always be a winner and a loser, but if everyone walks away from the table happy and no one is shot for cheating, than it was a good night!"
I disagree with the idea "there will always be a winner and a loser"He either teaches old school law or he's watched to many TV attorney shows or today HGTV! Wining More Losing Less.
I believe there are very few deals that are closed on this basics! After most closings every one thinks they won, but wish they'd have won more. For thirty seven years I've been teaching that every one must win. Yes win-win, but my client has to WIN big!
The other side, the loyal oppression, has to see how they win or they'll walk away from your offer. When we see real estate deals where one party looks like he lost we obviously don't know the whole story!
What we may think of as a loss is almost always at least a small win. People accept low offers because it's better than the alliterative! That sir is a victory over the alliterative! A win for the people you believe losers. Every one must win, but not necessarily evenly with each other! Remember the "Golden Rule" "He with the Gold rules!"
Buyers and Sellers are adversaries!
Buyers and Sellers are not combatants, well at least they shouldn't be!
Wining More Losing Less. For example, when it comes to sales price, it is not always the most important thing to the seller.
A quick closing will often beat allot of higher offers.
Possession can offset allot of price issues for one side or the other.
There is more to life that money, providing you have enough.
Wining More Losing Less. Let the other guy win that witch harms you the least!
Like my buddy the "Marking Gorilla" gorilla box with kid gloves.
There is always more than one way.
You'll close allot more deals WIN-win than win-lose. Wining More Losing Less.
"if everyone walks away from the table happy and no one is shot for cheating, than it was a good night!"
Is a great conclusion!
