The Dream, the self-evident rights, have not diapered! They have been abandon by many seeking to avoid the hard work. They have been abandon by those who've replaced educated logic with easily digested simplistic PC sound bytes written at a third grade level by those with a anti-American political agenda, read to them by pretty people whose only true accomplishment in life was being potty trained! People preaching salvation while seeking dominion over you. Like Orwell submersed "All animals are created equal, some are just more equal than others."
Like being rich everyone wants to live the American Dream, but few and fewer are willing to do what's necessary to achieve it!

Rational? Yes! The biggest fear limiting home ownership is negative equity, the so called "upside down" or "under water" how terrible. But, is it? Everyone who's ever financed a car, and who among us hasn't has been "under water" "upside down" and never lost a minutes sleep. Yet, we panic at the same though in a home of our own. Why? Ignorance!
Ignorance, those sound bites omit the fact that through the magic of loam amortization fleeting equity always returns! Fixed rate loans retain the same payment you agreed to and if you make the payments you agreed to will be paid off on the day you agreed to! Always! Only the gullibly ignorant would accept car financing where the only time the vehicle is worth what you owe is when the check making the last payment clears, yet reject home financing.
Home owners in trouble have many months to recover or work it out, Tenants in the same position have 3 to 30 days before becoming homeless.
Home owners have the time to pursue happiness. Tenants have the remaining term of the lease.
Home owners control what they can do and have in their home. Tenants are subject to their lease and Land Lords folly. Apartment leases normally contain a provision to allow the Land Lord to change the rules upon notice.
Home owners have the security of knowing their payment (excluding taxes and insurance) for the next 15 to 30 years. Tenants rents are rarely secured for more than one year, they to face increases for taxes and insurance plus the comparable market and the Land Lords whim.
There has never been a more compelling time to buy a home! Rates are low! Prices are low! Choices are over welling!
The choice is your's! "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Or, voluntary servitude!
Don't let yourself be fenced in by Land Lords and Government housing!
