~Spring Forward This Weekend~
It doesn't feel like Spring and it sure doesn't look like Spring here in Northern Nevada but this weekend is the launch of Daylight Saving Time so we must be getting close to Spring Time!
If it had not been for Annie Grogan, assistant Vice President at Fidelity Home Warranty, Reno's favorite Home Warranty gal, sending emails reminding us of the time change, I might have completely forgotten.
Daylight Saving Time falls on the second Sunday in March each year. This year many Renoites will be out celebrating St. Patricks Day and might not remember to turn their clocks forward when they go to bed that night, or morning. So if you are planning a evening out this Saturday it might be a great idea to set your clocks forward before you leave!
This is a also good time to also change the batteries in your smoke detectors and your carbon monoxide (CO) alarms.
Did you know that fire deaths in homes tend to occur between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. when most families are sleeping?
Keeping your smoke alarms and CO in good working order is one of the best ways to prevent fire deaths in homes.
So remember ~ Change your Clocks Change your Batteries
It may not feel like spring here in Northern Nevada but Spring is just around the corner. Don't forget to change your clocks forward this weekend!
I am sure you do not need me to tell you to change your clocks back or change your smoke detector and your CO alarm batteries. But you may need me to tell you where the best neighborhoods to live are in the Reno or Sparks areas, or if you may want me to tell you about our local real estate market, I can tell you that. Please feel free to contact me for all you Northern Nevada area neighborhood and real estate questions. Buying or selling? Give me call!
Happy Spring!
