Dad Always Used To Tell Me, "Always run your job. Never let your job run you." Once again I've been inspired to write a post based on another AR member's contribution. This one I owe to: Tish Lloyd Real Estate Agent Wrightsville Beach, NC Prudential Laney Real Estate 910.547.1446 Address: The Yellow Building on the Loop, 527 Causeway Drive, Wrightsville Beach, NC, 28480 Office Phone: (910) 256-9299 Cell Phone: (910) 547-1446 For her very interesting thoughts and philosophy about client relations: http://activerain.com/blogsview/2180363/you-can-t-fire-me-you-work-for-me-
With me it's all about vibes. If I don't get a comfortable feeling (it doesn't have to be warm fuzzies just a mutual comfort zone) from a client or they rub me the wrong way there's nothing wrong with saying NEXT!! and loving it.
Many of my projects are high dollar, time consuming and time sensitive. I always sit my client down on the front end and spend some serious time before I ever sign a contract or listing agreement just to establish the ground rules on my terms.
I'm not a difficult person to get along with. In fact I usually end up establishing long term relationships with my clients and receive lot's of referrals and compliments about my service and quality of work. It's like my Dad always used to tell me. "Always run your job. Never let your job run you."
