If you have a space, big or small, that needs to be filled or an empty house on the market but furniture isn't in the current staging budget, try getting some nice potted plants. This kind of staging will add great color and life to any space. The key is to use pots within the same style range. Too many mixed up pots tend to get that messy, 70s hippy look (I run into this in Boulder more than I would like). YIKES! In addition to nice pots, use plants that have some height, not the stringy, crawling stragglers. A really great side benefit to adding plants to your home or open space is that they help remove indoor toxins. Beautiful and Healthy!
Here is a web site outlining these benefits and 15 specific plants that help filter the air: http://air-purifier-reviewsite.com/blog/15-house-plants-you-can-use-as-air-purifiers
