Ottawa Real Estate - Zen

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Hallmark Realty Group Ottawa

Why would a real estate agent need ZEN when dealing with sellers and buyers.  As a real estate professional, you need to step into their world and appreciate what they are going through.  Listen to the essence of their answers and get clarification - ask questions like what do you mean by that.

Ask them what they want, what they expect and how do they see it happening and who would need to be involved to make it happen.

Sometimes, when we do a listing presentations we try and sell our services we forget to ask the right questions.  And sometimes, we ask the questions but don't understand the answers.  Repeat the question or ask it in a different way to ensure that you understand their needs.

When dealing with Buyers - again - ask questions, many questions and listen with both ears.  And, yes, Buyers do change their minds because sometimes, what they need and what they want does match what they can afford.

The Irene Bilinski Team works hard with both Buyers and Sellers to get the job done and to ensure that everyone is a happy camper at the end of the experience.

Irene, I love the comment of sometimes what buyers need and what they want does not match what they can afford.  Thanks for the post!

Hi Irene,

you are right on, we often suggest to realtors, in ou classes, that we (the realtors) that we should be required to move ourselves at least once every 3 years,  in order to truly understand what it is what our clients are experiencing ...
