Colorado Vacation 2003.  Beautiful mountains, wild creatures and stunning scenery.

These pictures are from my vacation in June of 2003 to a family reunion in Estes Park for a week.

Every couple of years or so my family has a reunion up in Estes Park Colorado, which is near Rocky Mountain National Park.  It is a great way to see the scenery together and catch up on how everybody is doing.

chipmonk

Here is a chipmunk.  His fur looks silky soft.  You can also see a survey marker on the left.

One of the sights from Trail Ridge Road.  When you go to Rocky Mountain National Park make sure to allow for one day to go over Trail Ridge Road (assuming it is open).  There is a visitors center at the highest point on Trail Ridge Road where you can stop for a meal, buy souvenirs and get a great view of the park.

elk

This was during the same trip, but at the other side of Trail Ridge Road on the side with Grand Lake.  There is something for everybody at this park.  Hope you get to visit soon.
