3 Comments on Spartanburg SC: A Bicycle Friendly Town!
In Bicycling Magazine's list of top 50 bike friendly cities....and on another list I think we received a silver rating.
9. Tucson, AZ
All new street construction and reconstruction must include bike lanes. The East Pima Region already has more than 700 miles of designated bikeways. Plus, it's sunny year-round
Thanks, Jon! Have never been to Tucson. Maybe I will have the opportunity one day! Did spend a month in Tuceyon (sp?) at the entrance to the Grand Canyon. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there. As far as bike lanes we are not where we should be yet but they have made alot of progress the last several years. I prefer trails and parks myself!
Thanks for sharing... it would be great if people did more bike riding. I get in the car to go one block and back.
