Fun Stuff To Do Around Birmingham!

SWINE-N-WINE TWILIGHT SUPPER

Swine N Wine The 3rd Annual Swine-N-Wine Twilight Supper will be this Sunday, March 20th from 4:30 PM til 7:30 PM at Old Car Heaven.

Ticket Information:

Adults $50 at the door, $45 advance

13-20 $25 at the door, $20 advance

12 and under get in free

Call 439-7213 for advance tickets or get them online.

PIG ROAST!!! WINE FEAST!!!

Featuring prestigious chefs from the Birmingham area and beyond, this is going to be a blast for all ages!

Lou Wamp and Swing Shift from Chattanooga TN will perform live bluegrass music.

Grassroots Wines will be hosting wines featuring Lucas and Lewellen Vineyards.

Good People Brewing Company and Birmingham Budweiser are bringing the beer!

Proceeds from the event will benefit Jones Valley Urban Farm, a non-profit organization that grows organic produce and flowers on 3 acres of vacant property in downtown Birmingham. They also work within the community to educate people about eating healthy food. Recently picked as one of the top 10 urban farms in America by Natural Home magazine! Congratulations!

Ann, what first caught my eye was your title "Swine-N-Wine"...I meand come on...you gotta check that out. Anyway as I began to read "Jones Valley Urban Farm" caught my attention because we have an area here named Jones Valley. I thought there might be a connection, but it turned out otherwise. I did do a little reading via the links you provided and I did find out that people working together can make a difference, especially in areas of the city where you might not expect it.
