Pay It Forward To The Tsunami Relief Efforts

Everyone has been talking about the destruction of the Earthquake and Tsunami that hit Japan this week.
Devastation is everywhere and they need our help.

We find ourselves thankful that we live in an area where a tsunami or earthquakes are unlikely to hit.
We have a hard time to even imagine the magnitude of this catastrophe and how the people will survive it!

It is most obvious though that they need help
. Lots of help.  Many funds will probably be set up for the much needed aid.

Here in the Toronto, Ontario, Canada
area a local television show advised us that Rogers and Fido wireless customers can conveniently text ASIA to 30333 to donate $5 to the earthquake relief efforts.  100% of all donations will go to the Canadian Red Cross Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacific Tsunami fund. We all text. Let's do it for a cause!

Please donate what you can, to a fund you can find.
They need our help more than ever!

Teral absolutely and we have to send aid and lots of it!

Yes and that was a huge chunk of change they gave to the banks wasn't it Ed?

Anita, with just a quick $5 donation from everyone, what a difference it would make!

If they don't Ken please bring it up, the time for help is now!

George we just had clients move there, hoping they are safe....

Ellen, we can't even imagine what it would be like to experience something like that!

Your welcome Brian, maybe you can pass the info along and more will donate because it is so convenient.

Al and Peggy, I was looking at some photos today of people looking for belongings in the rubble, it reminded me of wandering around on a huge landfill.  It will take quite some time, effort, and money to get back to "normal" for the people in the affected areas. I'm sure there will be many more aid campaigns to help, thanks for sharing!

It is exactly that Silvia. We were glad to see some big companies get behind the relief efforts. With our phone Rogers and Fido making it so simple for customers to donate, we are hoping it will get the job done.

Chris we need to get the word out how simple it is to donate!  You can do it from the comfort of your home!

So little help for these brave people compared to other tragedies or is it just me?  Can you imagine if the same land mass were affected in the US and multiple reactors were in the same stages of disaster?  This could reallly affect the entire world economy as well, the entire world needs to help as well, not just the US.
