My office has a sales meeting every Tuesday morning and I never miss these meetings because I learned more in that hour than I do the rest of the week! To start with, our residential manager, a former executive with the Greater Clearwater Realtor Organization (now known as PRO) always has the latest statistics, forecasts and news relating to our business. Secondly, she has brought in numerous PRO staff members to talk, giving us vital information which we can in turn relay to are clients. In addition, we have had representatives from insurance, title, mortgage, appraisal, and staging companies to name a few. These professionals are well prepared and some even bring breakfast which is a bonus. I gain a lot of useful knowledge from these people, but the real stars are my fellow real estate professionals.
We are a small office with about 14-16 residential agents, most are seasoned, top producers with a wealth of experience in our market. Yes, I take notes, these people are highly intelligent, spot on with their assessments and eager to help. If someone has a question or concern about a particular client/listing we can count on getting several answers, ideas which invariably will solve the problem. Helping each other is the basis of our teamwork and it shows in the way we conduct business.
I have learned more about real estate and how to be successful because our office is committed to keeping us on the cutting edge and will continue to do so. In closing, go to your sales meetings, participate, ask questions and enjoy interacting with your peers and I guarantee you will raise the level of your game. Good Luck, it's a jungle out there! Warm Regards, Michael Flowers, real estate sales associate, Coldwell Banker Wikle Properties
