Needham, MA Real Estate In The 128/95 Corridor Fairs Very Well
There are 2 distinct tech corriders Route 495 beltway and Route 128/95 (which will always be know as 128). Needham is very attractive to the home buyer because of all it has to offer in convenience to Boston all major highwasy, commuter rail and bus options. Needham home prices are not as pricey as Newton, Wellesley, and Weston but Needham is in the convenient luxury price range and has faired well in the housing market in comparison to the other tech corrider. We are seeing multiple offers and homes are selling so fast.
In the 495 beltway the price range is $248,000 to $519,500 in the Hopkinton and Bellingham region. Homes are lovely in these areas but one conclusion to the price difference one can come to is that is further from Boston. It so beautiful in these towns. Hopkinton particularly is one of the top towns in the country and the schools are terrific along with the town itself is so beautiful.
Median rices in 2010 ranged from high of nearly $1.1 millionin Weston to $346,850 in Dedham. Other towns along the Route 128 corridor included Burlington $382,000, Lexington $694,250, Newton $735,000, Waltham $385,000, Needham $630,000 and Wellesley $900,000 according to the Warren Grou
