Craig:
Thanks for the info. I use my flip video and have uploaded about 10 videos to YouTube. I am just learning what to do on YouTube with my videos. I just discovered I can add text to a screen. I added too much text the first time, but at least I am learning what to do. is there a screen where I can preview what I am doing before I actually execute the job? I really like my flip video camera because it is easy. But I guess if I keep doing videos I will need a better video camera. Or can I stay with my flip?
hi Gene - maybe soon hopefully
Dennis & Terri - thank you :)
Evelyn - I took a look at a couple of your videos and I'd say the quality of the flip is quite nice... I wouldn't think you need anything else. Adding annotations in youtube works nicely. When you are doing it you can totally preview the result before you "publish" it. Perhaps later in my series I can show more about this. thanks for commenting.
Craig
I agree and was talking about the MLS link only. I sometimes see MLS links go to all kinds of interesting branded places. Thanks for clairifying.
Craig - did not know I could choose the thumbnail. Have used YouTube for several activities and am glad you posted this checklist so I can make sure I maximize my time. Thanks!
So much to learn, so little time! Thanks for sharing this great information. You saved me hours! - Tonda
Steve - yes - good to bring up the topic to make sure it gets the right consideration
Robert - glad you picked up a tip or two
Tonda - yes - video can at first seem overwhelming, I want to do my part to get people over the initial hurdle because the value is great - thanks for commenting
I am going back through and changing my thumbnails! Thanks Craig!
Steve - glad you picked up a new point, terrific!
Thank you craig.
Very nice Craig, as you know I still need some practice getting the embed code to stay - I found out the hard way if you edit your post, it may disappear.
Maya - glad to hear from you, you're welcome
Steve - sometimes AR system does that when you edit multiple times - keep an eye on it
Thanks Craig! I never knew that you could select you thumbnail preview image. I'm really glad I stopped by today.
Craig, thanks for the YouTUBE tutorial..I will need to go back and check all videos.
Vickie - glad you found a good tip in there
Rebecca - hope to find time soon to visit your youtube channel
Hi Craig~ I would have sent you an email, however I'm not to confident in AR email notification! I did a quick video on my husband's blackberry. I tried to upload it to You Tube, however it's in a .3GP format and I can't get it to work. Any suggestions? I'm planning to purchase a Kodak Playtouch, but won't be for a few months. Thanks!
Donna - youtube supported file formats page makes it seem as if the file type is supported - are your trying to upload directly from the phone or uploading to your computer and then to youtube? go ahead and email me to follow on this, I will see it - I monitor my AR Home page since the email system as you say is not always forwarding messages at the moment ... -c-
Hi Craig-thanks a lot I never really understood you tube until this
hi Tim - very glad to hear you picked up a point or two :)
It is pretty easy once you do it once, and get it posted. Great information.
Great post, I'm looking forward to reading the earlier posts in the series.
