As I came down the hill from home today on the way to a soccer game, I was reminded of some of the quaint little surprises that rest amid the Chino Hills. It made me smile.

Keisha... That is a very lovely picture.  I think this is one that should be remembered.  We share this planet with animals...

Hi Keisha - What a wonderful surprise!  We have deer in our yard once in a while, but never long enough to photograph.

Keisha, It must be the time change I had the opportunity to take a photo so similar to this today.  However, you got it and I didn't.  Good job on speechless Sunday!

When I was growing up in Wisconsin, it was always a delight to get a glimpse of a deer in the wild. Very nice photo!

Valerie...I have to remind myself that we share this world and my road down the hill with these animals. They are not always out so we sometimes take for granted just how fast we're speeding up and down the hill.

Chris and Navona...glad I was able to catch the picture for all of us to enjoy together.

Thanks John. I am sure you probably had the chance to see even more than I do. Guess you're not seeing many in Vegas these days, huh?

Keisha,

They are so beautiful.  We have a lot of deer around here in El Dorado Hills too.  They love to eat roses so do a number on them in our gardens.

Keisha, beautiful!  We get a lot of them in my neighborhood because we are so close to Rock Creek Park.  They get pretty brazen when they are in to mood to munch azaleas!

Keisha,

Nice shot, looks like you surprised her - but not enough to have her run away. :)
