Competition for Craigslist

By
Real Estate Agent with eXp Realty

I was just came upon a site that is trying to give craigslist a run for their money.

Kijiji.com bills themselves as a free local classified site, like craigslist they are nationwide and broken up into regions, so you can use their site from anywhere in the country, locally. They are actually in many other countries in the world as well.

Just another place for you to post your real estate listings or services.

Thanks for the helpful tip. Sites like Craiglist seem to be popping up all over the place, so staying on top of all of them is challenging. I appreciate you posting it.

Kijiji has the potential to become a solid number 2 to Craigslist. Backpage doesn't have the marketing power. GoogleBase is undefined and lacks local reach. MySpace Classifieds & Facebook Classifieds are self-contained and will never generate the traffic. Oodle is more of an aggregator. Edgeio, Zillow, Trulia are listing services and not classifieds.

Thanks for the info.  It is always good to find more places to advertise your listings.  Hopefully this site will bring some good action.
