Pothole

Spring is in the air and with the singing birds and the warm temps we are entering Pothole Season. This year we should have a bumper crop with the budget cuts all but depleting road commission resources. Some potholes must have radar the way they seek out new tires and chew them up while they are on the way through. I have spoken to a few road crews who are really worried this will be a hard year and with funds low we need to be on the lookout and avoid if possible. Alaways try and report bad ones to the local Road Commission. Odds are they already know but a few calls can't hurt...Be careful out there and thanks for reading.

Oh Randy you are so right...no funding for doing anything but patches.  We were in Maine over the weekend and we saw one that went to China and a tiny little cone warning...yikes!

Randy......I think this is why they use so much salt on the roads......it keeps them busy all summer long just fixing all the repairs caused by the damage it causes.

Randy, that just seems to be the way of life in colder climates.  Being from Chicago I can attest to canyon sized potholes.  And the guys sporting those huge thin rims on their cars should really take care.
