What I'm liking (and NOT liking) for Mar 2011 - Real Estate and Otherwise

Ok...just to mix things up a bit, thought I would begin with what I am NOT liking. There's just one thing this month...lack of sunshine! Geez...occasionally we will be gifted with a day of sun. But of course, along with that we get high wind or snow! Just ready for Spring folks...that's all I have to say about that.

Likes:

1. Freedom Title Company - Located in Eaton Ohio. Amy Brehm and company there at Freedom always do such a bang-up job on all of my transactions. Prompt, thorough and professional at all times. I can always feel confident that when I go to Freedom for my Title work, it gets done right the FIRST time, and my clients are always satisfied. Thats a good thing! And no, they aren't paying me to say this :)

2. The "HGTV" Dream home - located in Stowe, Vermont. I dont know that much about Vermont. Except that they have worse winters than we do. Also home to Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Headquarters. That right there is enough for me to love it. The ice cream, not the winters! I registered for this home every single day of the sweepstakes. I'm a little nervous right now cause I see several of my friends on facebook claiming they will win it. But I am confident the home is mine. The drawing is March 18th. I will be out of the office next week as I will be celebrating my big win!

3. $5000 Homebuyer Grant money. Can you say "FREE MONEY" anybody? This program stared on March 1, and is for a limited time only. Basically, till the money runs out. Yeah...there are some conditions, and you must qualify, but gee, FREE money for a down payment or closing costs. Rates are so low right now. Add this in and WHY, I ask you, would you hesitate to be buying a home???

4. Good Blessings - I try to stay away form topics such as religion and politics as much as possible. But now matter where you fall in the religion category, good blessings are a GREAT thing. I have had so many people this month face some real hard medical issues, and someone is looking down on them. I thank God for that.

5. Arby's Loaded Potato Bites - you know I had to throw in SOMETHING about food! These are the bomb. ‘Nuff said.

6. Big Love on HBO - OK. The sad thing is, only 1 show to go till the end of the series. I'm not really sure how they plan to wrap up all the drama in one hour long finale. Hopefully they don't leave me hanging like the did on the end of the Sopranos series (err!). But I really enjoy the show.

7. The Pioneer Woman - Ever check out this site? I haven't read her blog yet but I am greatly enjoying the recipes. I have tried about 2-3 new ones per week and so far, almost all have been a hit with my family.

8. Cato Fashions - THANKFULLY, located here in little ole' Eaton Ohio. Boy do I love this store. Cute clothes and shoes and jewelry, at really great prices. I get compliments all the time on my Cato outfits. Cute and cheap, yay!

9. ActiveRain Network - I tell the other agents here at Country Mile to start blogging because it really DOES payoff. So far, no one has taken me up on the challenge. Thats ok...I'll keep all those leads to myself. And yep, I get them from blogging here. Plus a bevy of information. Like it!
