Rumor has it that folks aren't interested in house hunting during the holiday season.  There may be some truth to that, but I am finding more folks that are taking advantage of their time off to hit the streets.  Of course New Orleans is a market all its own, post-Katrina, so...  With the days getting shorter, my clients are looking to spend some of their precious vacation time during the day to view properties.  Why not put together a basket of cookies and a thermos of coffee and get rolling?  If you can't make it "home" for the holidays, maybe you can at least make it "under contract" for the holidays!  That's what I'm aiming for anyway!  It's a lot better than fighting the crowds at the mall this time of year...
