3 Comments on Good vs. Evil Smackdown: A Quick Short Sale Tale
I just had this happen to me. The listing agent wanted ALL contingencies removed within 18 days of contract acceptance. He "guaranteed" me personally that we would be reimbursed for appraisal and home inspection if the short sale didn't get approved. I told my clients to take a pass too.
Barbara ~ I loved the sequel to that novel, Black House, Jack has grown older and fights another battle of good and evil. Regarding short sales I agree each is a crapshoot but I have learned to listen to my instincts and if I get too many red flags I will advise my clients to pull out.
Ed, I think you made a wise choice. There are no guarantees in short sales.
Kristal, I have to go back and read Black House. I think I stepped into the 1st gunslinger novel before I discovered The Talisman. Now that makes sense, and I can't wait to see what I missed!
