Here is a short video from a recent home inspection in Santee, CA- not far from San Diego. Whoever thinks it never rains here is mistaken. The heavy rains this winter took out part of the rear lawn of this property. I needed a snorkel to inspect the crawlspace!

Wow, a dramatic example of what happens when water isn't kept away from the foundation as it should be.   How can people not install gutters?  The price to pay later is a whole lot more than the price to install them.

Isn't that the truth, Dianne!  I still find it hard to believe that the developers/builders are not required to install rain gutters; at least not here in southern CA.

I got rid of the pool but then changed their mind.  Now they have a swimin' hole under the house.

I had a real mess to clean up when I came out of this crawlspace, Steve.  It took a while to rinse all that mud off my swim fins, mask, and snorkle.
