The Pearland Oilers football team beat the Clear Lake Falcons 42-17. The game was a very close battle until the 4th quarter. Pearland running back Casey Carrier rushed for three touchdowns. Pearland quarterback Sam Allen also played well. He hooked up with wide receiver Kevin Miller for two touchdowns and efficiently directed the offense. The Pearland Oiler defense allowed more points this game than it has all year. But it was the defense that turned the game for the Oilers with key plays throughout the game.
The Pearland Oilers play Brazoswood on Oct. 5, 2007 at 7:00PM at the Rig.
