Reliant Stadium was filled with entertainment before the concert. This is a view from a second story suite we were in - thanks Lonestar Construction!

Here's one of the many, many boards outlinning the Rodeo events, line-up and those involved. A ton of money is raised for scholorships - all for a great cause. I believe over 1.3 million dollars in prize money was paid out to those that participated.

I used a cell phone to take this picture. It was protected behind plexi-glass so my photo here does it no justice. This was the grand painting (some other name) that fetched an eye-popping 210k! The painter is a 10th grade student here in Katy Tx. There were many other awesome paintings that brought in big money too. It's amazing what these guys can paint and draw!

How fun! I get a kick out of Gene Simmons and his show on TV. When my brother and I were little, we had one record album, which was a KISS album, that we played over and over and over. Can't remember if we liked them that much or not.... it was just the only album we had!

Gene Simmons most annoying man on the planet . . . him AND his freaking tongue. What a putz. But the redeeming nature of this post is the wonderful painting by the 10th grade student. Now that's amazing. I thought it was a photograph at first. I thought you were going to say how you captured the cowboy on your camera phone.
