Storm Lake IA Homes - flips and rentals abound

Storm Lake IA and the surrounding areas are in need of rental homes and reasonably priced homes. We are seeing a number of investors buying properties, putting in the basic average level finish and renting. All the rentals I have seen are doing really well. Now is not a time to slack on rental property upkeep. The current Storm Lake IA homes market has many people staying in rentals or looking for a good, clean, solid rental property. These factors allow landlords to charge top rent if their properties are in good condition. Storm Lake city officials and the Storm Lake Police Department are offering a free Landlord seminar to help educate local landlords on codes, rules and picking a good tenant. Great free resource, call the city to signup!

Georgia, We are seeing a shortage for nice rental home here too! Some of the homes on the market would make great rental properties and are at great priced! It is great you have the city official and police department involved with landlords with seminars and FREE! Great information to pass along to the city!

Mindy,

Totally agree, we have a really good City Code person in Storm Lake, IA. Some areas don't have and that makes it really hard to have consistient quality in rental properties. I love that the seminar is free and I have at least 5 of my investors attending. Two of them are brand new it is a great way to start them out!
