Stanislaus County Short Sales - Will There Be a new California Gold Rush?
Will there be a new gold rush in California? A Nevada County man found a 100 ounce gold nugget on his property last year. It could be the largest known California gold nugget in existence. Yesterday , March 15,2011 the nugget went up for auction in Sacramento Ca.
The anonymous (why are they always anonymous?) buyer won the auction with a final bid of $400,000. With the auction premium of 15% the total 
was $460,000. The actual value of the gold by weight is only (only?) about $125,000 so it is believed the anonymous buyer is most likely a collector or possibly a museum.
I'm sure the seller of that nugget is going to be hearing from long lost friends and relatives now. Let's hope the seller of the nugget spends that money wisely. Maybe he could buy a Stanislaus County Short Sale or maybe even two Stanislaus County Short Sales.
