I KNOW WHO I AM.....WHO ARE YOU?

Amazing how things turn out. I have never been here before and I know I will not return. The in between part just amazes me. I have learned so much as I have traveled and it is not the same learning as you would get in high school, a trade school or college. It is life learning which remains the best learning of all. All learning is good, but the stuff that helps you and helps others is up there

GIVE ME A PROBLEM PLEASE

I like discussing problems because I like to solve them. It is like Sherlock Holmes who got excited every time he took on a case. It brought out all his talent and skill and using them exhilarated him. Watson, the game is afoot he would exclaim. I am the same way. Solutions here we come!

BEING A FATHER

I like being a father to my children, grandchildren and anyone that needs a dad in the moment I am in. I run into a lot of people who never had a dad or didn't have a positive experience when they did. Here is my chance to play the good dad and encourage the son or daughter to be all they can be.

BEING A FRIEND

I recognize what it takes to be a good friend. I listen, care and comment where I think I should. I tell the truth with charity (love) because when you care deeply about someone, the truth plays a major part in that relationship. The lack of truth plays a major part too. Friends give all they have.

BEING A HUSBAND

I have been a good husband to my wife and I have encouraged other men to go the distance no matter what the circumstances are. I have even had to be a husband to other women in correcting or guiding them to look at something that they may not see. I have had friends ask me to speak with their wives. I usually end up speaking to them and explaining that their ways need to be revisited.

LOVING GOD & PEOPLE

I have talked about God freely and shared meaningful conversation with people without becoming religious, pious or willful about it. I let someone share their beliefs with me the other day who knocked on my door. When it was my turn, I shared mine. His parting statement to me was that he knows that I truly love God. I knew this person did too because it takes one to know one.

COUNSELING

I have counseled many people in regards to personal conduct, behavior, business practices, disputes, and strategies. I have had so many meaningful life opportunities which have enabled me to learn and then recount or share them accordingly.

TEACHING

I have spoken with authority and confidence in public and private in regard to many subjects where people thought I had a degree of some kind. I do have a degree, but I speak about life and being aware of it. The rest comes from observing and then not doubting what I know is right in my heart. So far so good.

WHO IS THIS GUY

Many people inquire about me to my friends and neighbors asking them, who is that man? Is he a teacher, counselor, business man, pastor, priest, councilman, father, friend? When they ask me who I am and if I am any of those things....I respond by saying: Only when called upon to be....
