The best way is through link exchange....

I have found in my expierence that the best way to get the SEO going on your personal site is a number of things...

and the list can go on and on forever... I like that fact that the simplest of those "things" can be as simple as providing links for each other on their respective sites! I am very interested to get with people all over and do a link exchange. I would like to extend an invitation to the rest of the Myers group and beyond a "link exchange"....

Travis - I have a link exchange on my site - however I have pretty much quit working it - some google "experts" say they hurt us - what I am doing for "link exchange" now is using the blog behind my site -

It's not that link exchanges hurt your site when done in moderation. The problem is that exchanged links are generally devalued and not nearly as worthwhile as one way links. Some sites did get in trouble for their link pages but these were sites that were involved in link networks (link farms) with multiple pages full of exchanged links on their sites. Other than those exchanged links (which were the same across thousands of sites) they had no real links. Link exchanges when done in moderation and as part of a diverse link profile are OK and will not hurt you. If your link profile is nothing but link exchanges you won't get much of a search engine benefit.

I believe that you should put up a page on your web site and link to all of the agents in MD and VA that link to you and that they should all put the same page on their web sites and all link to each other.

Thanks everyone! I am glad to see people are reading this and I wonder myself. I have had very good luck with link exchanges from "Trusted Sites" for the other website www.tahoe360.com . I just wonder how it works for the Real Estate. Very interesting. I will have to look further into it because I do not want to hurt my rankings...
