The 2011 Camden Kitchen Tour: Douglas Reed House in Camden
Saturday, March 19, 2011 The Kitchen Tour takes place this Saturday, March 19, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring a group and tour kitchens in gorgeous homes in Kershaw County-Lugoff and South Carolina's oldest inland city-Camden, SC. View several homes, have lunch at one of the many fabulous dining establishments and then continue your tour! This year there are eight fantastic kitchens on the tour. The tour starts at the historic Douglas-Reed House on the campus of the Fine Arts Center where you will pick up your program, which serves as your ticket for the tour. From 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. join us back at the Douglas-Reed House for a wine and cheese reception to enjoy while you shop at the Pottery & Garden Sale Show. Details.

Animal Grossology Family Camp-In: South Carolina State Museum
April 1, 2011. Enjoy the “stinkiest, slimiest, grossest” sleepover ever!! First, campers will enjoy a screening of the original blockbuster movie "Shrek". Campers may explore the museum galleries before and after the movie screening. A detailed schedule of activities will be provided at check-in. FOOD A light pizza snack will be served Friday evening.
