One night early for the full moon
We organized a full moon party tonight for a bunch of our clients on Sunset Beach ~ Thanks to an orbital fluke that brings the moon closer to Earth than it has been in more than 18 years, the biggest full moon of 2011 will occur on Saturday. One of our couples has to leave tomorrow so we organized the party for tonight, the night before the full moon.
On Saturday afternoon at 3pm Eastern Daylight Time, the moon will arrive at its closest point to the Earth in 2011. At its peak, the supermoon of March may appear 14 percent larger larger and 30 percent brighter than lesser full moons. Happy Mooning!
