I had a fun afternoon with family today watching my 7 yr old niece in an Elementary school production of Peter Pan. It was fun seeing all the kids so enthusiastic.
On Thurs, my niece called to make sure I was coming and described all the songs she would be participating in. She complained about how ugly her costume was...and then said "since you're so good at redesigning floors and kitchens, do you think you can redesign my costume?" I couldn't stop laughing.
All in all a fun day and we played a bunch of fun games afterwards. I had a chance to catch up with my sister-in-law who told me that the ones who put on this play have the best job in the world. They travel from school to school and spend 2 weeks with each elementary school to put on these plays. What a fun, rewarding and stressfree job. We were both feeling very jealous of this and longing for such a wonderful job.
