6 Comments on The news is not the same as reading the Newspapers...
Cheryl -- for me, I read newspapers from other areas online but locally still receive newspapers. As for disposal --- recycle those newspapers.
As long as print has been around it will be here for a while. They have had to tighten their belts and once online papers catch on and fee is charged to read a lot of people will go back to reading the Sunday paper.
Cheryl, my wife gets all her news from the net. I read the entire paper every day. And, if I miss a day or two, it takes forever to get caught up. But, as you say, it is worth it.
Books are the next on the extinction list. Too bad.
We have a daily paper here in Annapolis and I love to stop my day, grab a cup of coffee and browse thru the paper each day. It is the transistion for me from run run run to stop and relax a bit. I hope the newspapers never disappears.
Martha, me, too.
