We’ve all heard it before. The Power of Social Media. A great majority of us do get it, but oh so many still don’t.
Many Active Rain members share a friendship with a fellow member, Clint Miller. @Therealclint on Twitter and Clint Miller on Facebook.
As many of you know by now, Clint was recently diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that has spread into his lungs and liver. As you can imagine, this daunting prognosis could keep anyone down, but together with his family by his side, Clint is fighting this horrible disease with the same tenacity that he is known for.
On Friday, Clint posted on his FB group page and on Twitter the following: ";I have a new goal...Im trying to get the The Ellen Show (@TheEllenShow) on twitter to get me to meet Lance Armstrong. We have the same disease and I would love to have it happen. If you can retweet the #helpclintmeetlance tag to @TheEllenShow on twitter as much as possible, I would be most appreciative.";
Here is just one tweet that someone wrote for Clint: Hey @lancearmstrong, I'd like you to meet my buddy (Yeah he's fighting the big C) @TheRealClint cc: @TheEllenShow #HelpClintMeetLance
