REAL ESTATE ON THE ROAD - THREE CITIES AND 700 MILES IN THREE DAYS
My travels this past few days have taken me from Minneapolis to Madison and then to Chicago..and back again. All of this was part of my real estate practice. And it has become a bigger and bigger part of what I do in this business.
On Wednesday, I attended the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors (MAAR) Awards Luncheon at the Calhoun Beach Club and had the honor of receiving the 2010 "Exceptional Service Award". Immediately following the MAAR luncheon, I jumped in the car and drove about 300 miles to Madison, Wisconsin, where I had to stop off at Wisconsin Realtors Association to sign some checks (I'm the Treasurer of the Wisconsin CRS Chapter).
I stayed overnight at my friends' house and then was off to Chicago the next morning, for two days leadership training at the National Association of Realtors headquarters building on Michigan Avenue.
On Friday midday, it was back into the car for the drive back to Madison, with another stopover at WRA and then home to Minneapolis by midnight.
I guess I'm keeping the oil companies' revenues right where they want them to be.
