Louise Campbell's SeesawLouise Campbell's Seesaw

Just the sort of thing that fits perfectly into a modern Seattle lifestyle...

For those with expansive, modernist homes, Louise Campbell's modern take on good ole' fashioned seesaw makes it on-limits for those above 12.

Manufactured by Erik Jorgensens Mobelfabrik and constructed with upholstered wood and steel frame, this delectable piece was originally designed for lounge and waiting areas, where strangers are encouraged to intermingle beyond their normal boundaries. Believable, as Louise claims:

"Sitting alone on the seesaw is awkward, sitting two or more is a hell of a lot of fun!"

I believe it may be fun.... I would be one to hop on one...the way I'd be begging someone to hop  on with me would empty the waiting room though...haha!

I can picture those without the center dividers and making for a cool bed.. great for your feet up when your feeling faint, or reversed to watch tv.  then again, i might jump and send my wifey into the ceiling. :)  cool pics Sara

I clearly would not want to be the one sitting third on that in a doctor's waiting room and tipping everyone over on to me.  Better as art I think, than for sitting.

Certainly not the right spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or an evening cocktail.... Makes an interesting conversation piece though.

Celeste, I get to be a gymnast too?? heheh

Nick, what a brilliant idea!! You'd just have to make sure no one around you wanted to play a sick joke in the middle of your nap and rock the seesaw...

Ardell, perhaps we should get one. Would it look good in the Brio Office? The foyer??

Dan, I suppose Louise didn't think about the beverage disability... So it's better either before or after getting inebriated..?

I promise, if and when I get one, I'm going to have all of you over!!
