Spring is a wonderful season of blooming flowers and trees to warmer temperatures and outdoor activities.  It is that time of year again to clean out your closets, wash all the windows, dust the baseboards and open up and let your home bring in all the fresh spring air.

What you might do with those shoes, toys, clothes, etc...all those things you have outgrown or you just have not touched in a year. You might think about having a garage sale or taking it to your local non profit facility to give away. You can either make some extra cash from the garage sale or get a receipt for tax purposes if you drop it off at the local Goodwill, Salvation Army etc...

Another idea is shipping it to the people in Japan that have been devastated with so much loss. Clothes and personal items is always needed and much appreciated in times of crisis. You can also have a neighborhood garage sale, what a great way to get to know your neighbor and make it a community effort.

The warmer temperatures brings us outdoors as well to partake in the activities we love the most, whether it be basketball, baseball, golf or camping we all love getting out of the house after a long winter of being stuck in doors. There are so many things you can do with your family, take a hike, have a picnic at the lake, find a walking/biking trail and much more. The great thing about this time of year is you can be active and healthy without even realizing it, 30 min a day keeps a person healthy and gives us energy to keep on moving.

Family time and exercise is great because you are getting in two things at once, time with your family and the benefit of keeping active and healthy.

So whatever you decide to do with your Spring, I hope it's full of sunshine and de-cluttering because when your home and office is in order your life seems to follow.

Happy Spring and Spring Break everyone!
