Two Frederick County organizations won the Frederick County Business Ethics Awards at a function at Dutch's Daughter Restaurant Friday evening.
The awards are jointly presented by the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek and the Frederick(Maryland) New-Post newspaper.
Criteria for the awards are: an outstanding committment to ethics; employee support; and social responsibility.
YMCA of Frederick County won the Large Employer Award, and the Mental Health Association of Frederick County won the Small Employer Award.
Other finalists were: Frederick Mutual Insurance Co.; Integrity Counsulting; St. Thomas Moore Academy; and The Temple - a Paul Mitchell Partner School.
