Yes - Friday was an especially beatiful day, because we are coming out of a short cold winter, and a very wet early spring.
But yesterday's 80 degree weather was fabulous.
Just perfect for spreading horse manure on our gardens(and a little sun).
This is "old" manure, has very little odor, as it has lain about all winter "fermenting". In other words, it is almost completely high nutrient, high fiber(straw) dirt. Very good for the soil.
Our annual applications have produced great results in vegetables and flowering plants.
So...back to the pitch fork and wheelbarrow.
