Motivational Monday - Letting Nature Take The Lead

crocus

When I walked out to the deck of my waterfront listing in South Bellmore yesterday, the crocus proclaimed loudly that spring was indeed upon us.  My heart soared.  After this long and arduous winter, we and all of natures bounty deserve a rebirth.

A secondary reason for my unbounded positive energy today comes by way of my new smart phone, which, by the way is responsible for this photo.  With a quality 5 megapixel rear facing camera, it captured some great shots.  I was even able to crop this one without it degrading too much, making it a viable option when I forget to tote my SLR with me.

Make yours a great day today as well.

VERY nice photo--especially for a cell phone camera.  I was so glad to see those crocuses, and what happened this morning?  They are covered with snow once again! Hopefully it will melt off quickly!

Wow!  Very lovely shot, Geri.  How did you crop it in your phone?

What kind of phone do you have? It is a beautiful photo and really looks like spring.

Lisa -  Seeing the crocus in bloom did my heart good after this brutal winter.  I was really pleased with the quality of the photos I got from the phone.

Kristen - I actually didn't crop it in the phone, though it has the capability to focus in on the spot you want.  I took it into a photo editing program and cropped it there.

Roger - What makes it nifty is, I can always grab a quick shot, even if I don't have my camera with me.

Debra - As I told you in the email, the phone is a Samsung Epic 4G.

Barbara - We got lucky today.  Just rain here, no snow this time.

Craig - Spring sort of made it for a minute before the temperature dropped once again.  A quick reminder that we don't decide when the seasons change, much as we might choose to twitch our noses and dismiss an unwanted winter.

Geri--I definitely have an emotional attachment to my phone.  I think I might need it more than I need my husband.  Just kidding! sort of....
