PAWS IN THE PARK

Please mark your calendars and come out for a day of unbelievable fun on Saturday, March 26, at Pell City's beautiful Lakeside Park, from 10 until 3.

Admission to the event itself is free, but there will be plenty of food and other vendors to offer their wares as a way that you may support the Shelter.

A mini-castle and inflatable slide and such for children are activities that will be available free of charge.

Be prepared to see hundreds of dogs and their owners having the time of their lives as they enjoy the free Pet Contest, featuring free treats for all the entrants, and separate contests for children and adults, with ribbons for every participant!

There is a 32-foot Mobile Gaming Theater that is new to Paws,  with entertainment for all ages.  Four 47-inch High Definition televisions will allow people to play games on a Wii, PlayStation 3, or X-Box, for a fee of $5.00 for 15 minutes.  If a rousing game of Laser Tag is more your thing, the same fee applies for that.

Microchipping will be available for $25-a great way to insure your pet will never be lost.

The Animal Shelter of Pell City is happy to present this day to bring so many folks and their best friends together. Please join us for a day of entertainment featuring Steve Shafer, local bands, and childrens' groups who will provide plenty of fun!

Great idea Danny! Will do.

@Lizette- I love Spring. Perfect weather for outdoor events. Our summers here are just to hot to enjoy much other than being on the water!
