Acoustic Music Jam Abingdon, Virginia

There is an Acoustic Music Jam every Thursday night at the Virginia Ballroom located in the Abingdon Senior Center just off White's Mill Road. The Public is welcome and everyone is encouraged to come to the Acoustic Misic Jam in Abingdon. This evening has something to offer to everyone of all ages, whether you are sixteen or sixty, a good time will be had by everyone.

Musicians are welcome anytime after 5:00pm. Light Dinner starts at 5:45pm ($9). Address 300 Senior 6:30pm Phone 276-628-5859.

I have been line dancing for 4 years and last spring had the prividledge of teaching line dance at the Virginia Ball Room and then stayed each evening to enjoy the wonderful dinner and the Acoustic Music Jam. Musicians from all locations in the county came and displayed their special talents for us. It is a wonderful gathering place for the new in town and the long time residents of Abingdon.

It is an extremely enjoyable evening with good food, great acoustic music, dancing, and loads of talent. Whether you prefer jazz, country, or bluegrass; there is something for everyone at the Acoustic Music Jam.
