Greater Vancouver Real Estate Sales
RED HOT - 70% increase February 2011
Greater Vancouver residential housing market sales increased by a blistering 70% in February 2011 with 3,097 units sold compared to 1,819 in January 2011.
In the real estate world, we saw an increase in demand across our region last month as more buyers entered the market in advance of the spring season.
Property sales across Greater Vancouver were very strong in February with especially high sales on the North Shore, Richmond, and on the West Side.
These areas are the most sought after properties in our marketplace with detached homes being the strongest.

We saw an influx of buyers in the month of Feb, meaning home prices rose, and the market was on FIRE! A couple reasons why... new mortgage rules, and a influx of over seas buyers!
