SELL THE HOUSE "AS IS" OR FIX IT UP?

By
Real Estate Agent with Austin Texas Homes

Is it better to do the repairs and sell at market price or to sell "as is" at below the market price?

A good CMA can help you make that decision. Most repairs can pay for themselves in the added return you will get when you sell the home. A Comparative Market Analysis will help you see what you are up against in the market place by comparing homes of similar square footage and condition to your home.

If you need assistance in making that decision email us at: roundrockhomes@gmail.com

We will send you a CMA FREE.

Quite often it comes down to spend the money and fix the most obvious problems, or drop the price. It's the homeowners decision, with a bit of helpful advice from the Realtor.

These days in our area, sellers are really feeling the pinch and are reluctant to put more money into a home they may have already put more into than they can hope to get back. If they aren't upside-down on a mortgage though, they are still better off making repairs up front - condition does matter and can help them get the best possible price!
