Recent trips with clients looking to lease in the Austin area have provided valuable information about the current market. I took a client this past weekend to 5 complexes. All five were 90% plus full. Two had absolutely nothing available. The weekend before I had another client we looked at 7 complexes and only one of them was under 90% full. In many cases we only had one option as to units available.
There are some really great apartment complexes in the Austin area. Based on the current market conditions you should be ready to act as soon as you find what works best for you.
