The annual Chasco Fiesta started in 1922 in New Port Richey, Florida as a weekend fundraiser  for the local library. Now it stretches from Thursday, March 24 - to SunChasco Fiesta-New Port Richey-FL www.tweidman.comday, April 2. The celebration takes place on the banks of the Pithlachascotee River in downtown New Port Richey and includes a Native American Festival and Pow Wow; a carnival, the Coronation Ball to choose King Pithla and Queen Chasco, some of the other highlights include:


Sand Soldiers of America Street Parade on Saturday, March 26 starting at 1pm.
There's the Gulfside Corvette Club Chasco Car, Truck and Bike Show - Sunday, March 27 8am-3pm.
the World-famous Sertoma Beef BBQ, Thursday March 24-Sunday, March 27 at Sims Park.
Arts and Crafts Village and Flea Market - Saturday-Sunday, March 26, 27.
The Chasco Bowling Tournament - LaneGlo Bowl South, Tuesday, March 29, 6:30pm.
Chicken BBQ Friday April 1- Saturday, April 2 at Sims Park.
Golf Tournament - Fox Hollow Golf Club Friday April 1. Shotgun start at 1:30pm.
The Boat Parade will be on Saturday, April 2 beginning at approx. 1pm.
The Chasco Children’s Pageant is Saturday, April 2 at Homewood Suites, Port Richey.
There will be live musical performances in Sims Park every night; most are free.

The Chasco Fiesta is the main fund-raiser for many of the non-profit, charitable organizations in West Pasco, and gives everyone a chance to celebrate the uniqueness that is New Port Richey, Florida.
