Win or lose, make the playoffs or not, our fightin' Phillies have given us a season to remember and it ain't over yet! All season long they have struggled to overtake the NY Mets, and just about 10 days ago they were 7 games out and struggling for even a 'wild card' finish to make the playoffs.

Now, I wouldn't want to jinks the team but I simply could not hold back my emotion and decided to post this tribute while they finally were in first place, a game ahead of the Mets, with 2 games left to play by both teams!

The excitement they have generated and the chemistry they exhibit, regardless of the end result, will be remembered by millions of enthusiastic fans for years to come! In Philadelphia, we love our baseball, even to a fault---the phrase 'boo-birds' was actually coined to describe Philly's over enthusiastic fans! WE don't hold back! A Tribute:

                   Coaches!!!         Players!!!

Fans!!!                                WE THANK YOU, PHILLIES!!!!!!!

Yesterday, in a New York restaurant, I ordered the Philly cheese steak. I was told by the waiter that anything Philly was a poor choice. He was only half kidding.

Fran, I don't know much about the Phillies baseball team...although I have watched a few Philadelphia Flyer's hockey games.  (((-:

When the Phillies score more points than the Eagles....  you KNOW there is some Karma and good Ju-Ju going on.

What a great nucleus of young ballplayers the Phils have.  Give 'em a couple closers (and I don't mean Title insurance) and this team would be fav's to go to the series and ..... gulp....win it all.
