There were 37 homes for sale in Murrieta CA that closed (sold) this past week with a median home price of $235,000 and a median price-per-square-foot of $107.27.There were 37 homes for sale in Murrieta CA that closed (sold) this past week with a median home price of $235,000 and a median price-per-square-foot of $107.27, according to the California Regional MLS (Multiple Listing Service). In the same period last year, 35 single family homes for sale closed with a median sales price of $244,000 and a median price-per-square-foot of $103.54.

Bill--Murrieta does not seem like your typical California city---home prices are not unlike those here in the Indianapolis area and that is not what I normally hear from folks relocating this way.  Very interesting!

Thanks Beth. Yep there are homes in the low $100,000 range, as well as multi-million dollar estates. Murrieta has something for just about everyone!

Hey Jim. I suspect so. I just query the stats for a date-range each week to see what sold during that time frame.

Hi Pat. Murrieta is unique that way, with a wide-range of home sizes and prices. And it’s a newer community, too, with many of the homes not more than 20-30 years old.
