Lots of Good Things are Happening in the Real Estate Market. Here's Proof!

Busy bee photoAs an avid reader of ActiveRain blog posts and several others. I've noticed a repeated theme expressed by writers from coast to coast. Things are getting better.... FAST. Is it price, interest rates, the weather, timing or all of these things? Heaven only knows.... but the Real Estate Market is getting more active. How do I know? Here are comments from across the nation.

In a post yesterday from Leslie Ebersole, Baird & Warner Real Estate, St. Charles, IL entitled "How Do You Choose? And Will Sleep Be Included?" on time prioritization....  comments made include:

  • Leslie - "Suddenly it's Spring and most Realtors are suddenly too busy to sleep."
  • Tom Branch, RE/MAX Dallas Suburbs, Plano TX. commented back to Leslie - We've been swamped with so much business that the three of us can't keep up with it. I'm referring out business to other agents in the office.
  • Debbie Gartner, Westchester Flooring, Westchester, NY - It's been insanely busy and so hard to keep up.

Other bloggers are seeing the same thing:

Greg Swan, Phoenix, AZ area writes in a post entitled "Is It Just Me...?" on his Bloodhoundblog.com . He is speaking of the recent increased activity in the market and asks: Is It Just Me, or has the worm turned?

The frenzy has hit the Inland Empire of SoCal too. There are more Open house signs out on weekends, more buyers requesting showings, more activity all over, unemployment dropping in the county.... good things are happening. Is this the bottom? Don't know, but it's not just me seeing Lots of Good things happening in the real estate market.

I think it's a little bit of everything that is causing such a wonderful stir in real estate right now.

Diana,

Thanks so much for your comment. I clicked on your personal link to your blog and really wish that I had seen it before I wrote this post.

For others that also may have missed Diana's two reinforcing articles, I'm linking to them here. Diana is a relatively new blogger on AR, having logged her first contribution just a couple of months ago. Her most recent contributions are proof of the pudding. I'm sure we'll be reading her posts for some time.

Thanks again Diana, and the best of success .

it is getting busier and some of the data were seeing is amazing. Here in San Diego, CA. we saw 33% of all sales in the county made with cash. I'd say that's a wow!

Victor,

You're further proof of the activity. WOW, 33% Cash. San Diego is definitely ahead of the Inland Empire on that. That figure is very close to what the conventionsl loan share is here. Whatever the financing mode, we're starting to see more of everything here.

Thanks Victor.
