With the economy expected to make a move towards recovery in 2011, and the CRE market along with it, lender interest in deals will rise, creating an increased availability of capital. The CRE market is now entering the last stage of its cycle: recovery. After recovery, the real estate market will resume growth, making CRE deals increasingly appealing to investors. In 2011, the supply of capital for CRE projects should begin to close the gap on the demand that has gone unmet for the last several years.
