Last year I represented a buyer in purchasing a large property on San Juan Island. The San Juan Islands are situated between Washington State and Victoria BC. A beautiful chain of islands served by the Washington State ferry system as well as Kenmore Air.
I have made several trips to the islands over the last 15 years prior to being involved in this sale. Since the sale I visit the island regularly to see my client and stay in touch with the real estate market. There are many reasons to visit including friendly people, nice restaurants, lodging, activities and beautiful views. If you are in the area, be sure to make time to visit the islands, you'll have a wonderful time.
I was aboard the ferry a couple of weeks ago on a cool but clear Northwest day. This lone traveler was standing watch facing into the wind as we moved between the islands on our way to Friday Harbor.
