Recent shot of Ka'anapali Beach, Maui, Hawaii by Angelina Hills

Ka'anapali Beach has been voted the #1 beach in the world by a plethora of publications throughout the years. For those of you who have, or are experiencing some of the most unfavorable record-breaking winter weather this year, I'd kindly like to give you a weather update from Maui. Currently, in Napili, Maui (where I live), it's 85 degrees, light trade winds in effect, the air is crisp and clear, the sun is shining, and the whales are jumping all over the place. I'm going to load up my stand-up surfboard and hit this latest Northeast swell that has just come in and brought a big smile to my face. Speaking of the swell, here is some footage I shot of some beautiful waves in Napili this afternoon. (Please pardon my silly rhetoric in this video, I do it for my fiance, Megan, as she loves it.)

As reported by The New York Times yesterday: "Hawaiian tourism officials, hotel operators, and travel agents—battered by several years of slumping sales—have recently seen a marked increase in arrivals to the islands. And while there are various theories as to why—including favorable currency exchange rates attracting foreign visitors, and Obama on the beach—what most people can agree on is that the rotten weather in much of the rest of the country, including a series of brutal snowstorms in the Midwest and on the East Coast, has been good news in Hawaii." Read the full article here. Somehow not convinced yet? Here is another post on 10 Reasons Why the Maui Life is Priceless. Did I hear you say, "but Maui is too expensive for us?" Here is the latest newsflash - Maui is now affordable. Simply put, Maui is the end of the rainbow—more accurately, rainbows—don't you agree?

Stunning.  I'm jealous.  Sitting here in a Maryland wind storm.  Hawaii sounds perfect just about now...

What a beautiful place to live Tracy. Here in Michigan we just had two days of freezing rain and snow mixed so the pics look even warmer from here.

Randy,

I love Michigan in summer. I spent the summer of 1974 selling dictionairies in Grand Rapids do to door. It was a lot of fun and I still remember fishing for carp in the Grand River using a beer can as a reel and a spark plug as a weight. I got adopted by some old brothers who taught me the tricks. I actually caught a 20 pound carp with a hand line. Lot's of fun.

Send me a buyer and you'll get a nice referral with our average sales prices hovering around $500K
